Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Clinical Counselor to join our team at Podar Education Network. This is a full-time, junior-level position requiring 1 to 3 years of experience. The Clinical Counselor will provide professional support and guidance to students with diverse psychological needs.
Qualifications and Skills
- Must have experience in working with autism (Mandatory skill).
- Expertise as a Clinical Counselor (Mandatory skill).
- Proficient in Counseling Psychology (Mandatory skill).
- Knowledge and experience in handling ADHD cases.
- Master's degree in psychology (MA Psychology).
- Master of Science in psychology (M Sc Psychology).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with students and staff.
- Ability to assess, diagnose, and create treatment plans for various psychological conditions.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Provide individual and group counseling sessions to students to address their psychological and emotional needs.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans for students with autism, ADHD, and other psychological conditions.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other staff members to create a supportive environment for student development.
- Conduct psychological assessments and maintain detailed records of counseling sessions and progress reports.
- Offer crisis intervention and support as needed, ensuring students' mental health and well-being.
- Participate in professional development activities to stay updated with the latest practices in counseling psychology.
- Promote mental health awareness and preventive mental health education within the school community.
- Maintain confidentiality and ethical standards in all counseling practices.
