Cost Analyst_Steering & Braking System_Senior Engineer

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst having a significant background in development to join DMRT Indian team. In this role, you will analyze large costing datasets, interpret trends, provide actionable insights to support decision-making processes and develop costing algorithms in relation with the data you will analyze and much more. You will work closely with cross-functional costing teams to improve business operations, optimize performance, identify savings opportunities, and increase costing coverage.

• Data Collection & Cleaning:
• Collect, clean, and organize data from costing, purchasing, and engineering sources.
• Ensure data quality by identifying and resolving discrepancies, duplicates, and missing values.
• Data Analysis & Interpretation:
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and correlations.
• Use statistical tools to interpret data and deliver actionable insights.
• Create data visualizations such as charts, graphs, and dashboards to simplify complex findings for non-technical stakeholders.
• Reporting:
• Maintain and improve existing Spotfire reports.
• Generate regular and ad-hoc reports to support decision-making at different levels of the organization.
• Present analytical findings clearly and concisely to stakeholders.
• Collaboration:
• Work with costing & purchasing teams’ managers in different countries to verify, understand and improve data and provide analytical support.
• Assist in identifying business problems and proposing data-driven solutions.
• Predictive Analysis & Forecasting:
• Utilize historical data to create models that forecast future trends and business outcomes.
• Recommend strategies based on predictive insights to improve business performance.
• Continuous Improvement:
• Suggest and implement improvements to data collection processes and analysis techniques.
• Stay updated on industry trends, data analysis methods, and new tools.
• Algorithms development:
• Analyze & validate expert owner’s specification.
• Implement and test the required algorithm within the costing platform.
• Maintain existing algorithms developed by DMRT team.
• Develop specific and standalone costing algorithms in Python
