Responsibilities

• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings.
• Assemble, wire, and install control panels according to engineering specifications and standards.
• Select and install appropriate electrical components, such as circuit breakers, switches, relays, and terminals.
• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform quality checks to ensure panels meet safety and performance standards.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to discuss wiring layouts and resolve design discrepancies.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations while working with electrical equipment and tools.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including proper storage of tools and materials.
• Document work performed, including wiring diagrams, test results, and any modifications made during assembly.
  
  

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in electrical engineering is preferred.
• Proven experience in control panel wiring or electrical assembly, preferably in an industrial setting.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, including AC/DC circuits, voltage, current, and resistance.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with electrical codes and regulations, such as NEC and UL standards.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
