We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Computer Operator/Non-Voice professional to join our team. This position requires a candidate who is proficient in handling computer systems, data entry, and other administrative tasks that support the organizations day-to-day operations. The role involves working in an office environment, performing tasks that are primarily computer-based and non-interactive with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Computer Operator/Non-Voice professional to join our team. This position requires a candidate who is proficient in handling computer systems, data entry, and other administrative tasks that support the organizations day-to-day operations. The role involves working in an office environment, performing tasks that are primarily computer-based and non-interactive with customers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Data Entry & Management:
- Enter and update information accurately in the companys internal systems or databases.
- Maintain and organize electronic files, ensuring data is stored securely and efficiently.
- Verify data entries for completeness and accuracy.
- Document Processing:
- Process incoming documents, reports, and other materials, ensuring they are logged and routed correctly.
- Format, type, and proofread documents as necessary.
- Ensure all documentation complies with company standards.
- System Monitoring & Maintenance:
- Operate and monitor computer systems, ensuring they are functioning properly.
- Assist in basic troubleshooting of system issues and report technical problems to the relevant department.
- Perform regular backups and updates of digital data and files to ensure security and prevent data loss.
- Non-Voice Communication:
- Manage and respond to emails, internal communication, and other correspondence as required.
- Work with various departments to exchange information and assist in day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Maintain professional, clear, and concise written communication with colleagues and management.
- Report Generation:
- Assist in generating regular reports related to data, systems usage, or project statuses.
- Compile data from various sources, analyze trends, and present findings to management in an organized manner.
- Technical Support:
- Assist colleagues with basic troubleshooting related to office software, hardware, and network issues.
- Provide support in operating systems, applications, and any non-voice communication platforms used in the office.
- Adherence to Protocols:
- Follow company procedures, data security protocols, and best practices in data management.
- Ensure all tasks are performed in compliance with industry regulations, privacy laws, and company standards.
- Team Collaboration:
- Work collaboratively with other team members to ensure smooth office operations.
- Provide administrative assistance to managers or department heads as needed.
- Time Management & Productivity:
- Efficiently manage time to ensure all tasks are completed on schedule.
- Meet daily, weekly, or monthly deadlines and productivity goals.
- Proficiency in Computer Systems: Basic knowledge of operating systems, office software (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and email platforms.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and error-free work.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written communication skills for managing emails and documentation, with the ability to communicate clearly and concisely.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to address technical issues and provide solutions or escalate them as necessary.
- Time Management: Strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Education: A high school diploma or equivalent is required; a degree in computer science, IT, or any related field is a plus.
- Experience: Prior experience in data entry, computer operations, or similar administrative roles is preferred.
- Location: The role is based in an office environment, requiring the candidate to work on-site.
- Work Hours: Standard office hours, with some flexibility depending on workload requirements.
