About the Client: PSS has been mandated to hire a Chief Financial Officer for a well-known fast-growing furniture manufacturing organisation

Objective: We seek a strategic CFO who can partner with the Board, Promoters, and PE investors to drive growth, profitability, and value creation, while steering the company toward an eventual public listing.

Objective: We seek a strategic CFO who can partner with the Board, Promoters, and PE investors to drive growth, profitability, and value creation, while steering the company toward an eventual public listing.
Key Responsibilities
- Investor & Board Management
- Act as the primary interface with private equity investors and the Board.
- Deliver clear, data-backed reporting on business performance, profitability drivers, and capital efficiency.
- Profitability & Capital Allocation
- Drive initiatives to improve EBITDA margins and cash flows.
- Ensure efficient capital allocation to maximize ROCE and shareholder value.
- Oversee investments in capacity expansion, digitization, and new verticals.
- IPO Preparation & Governance
- Lead the company’s IPO-readiness journey, covering financial controls, reporting standards, governance, and disclosures.
- Strengthen internal controls, corporate governance, and risk management in line with listed-company standards.
- Strategic Leadership
- Partner with the CEO/Promoter on growth strategy, including M&A, JVs, and strategic partnerships.
- Benchmark and implement industry best practices in cost management, pricing, working capital, and treasury.
- Mentor and elevate the finance team to meet future scale requirements.
- Chartered Accountant / MBA (Finance) with 15–20 years of experience in mid-to-large companies.
- Background in manufacturing, consumer, or industrial businesses with exposure to scale-up dynamics.
