Job Purpose

To act as a Financial controller of GMR Airports Limited with overall responsibility of managing Company affairs in the areas of Finalization & Completion of Audit of Financials Statements of GMR Airports Limited both at Standalone and Consolidated ( involving 36 entities which are subsidiary & Jvs of GAL), ensuring complete statutory compliances, monitoring payables & Funds of the company, preparation of MIS at Airport at Sector Level and implementation of strategic initiatives both at GAL and sector level

A Well versed with Financial Planning and Strategy, Managing Profitability, Strategic Planning, Vision, Quality Management, Promoting Process Improvement, Forecasting, Corporate Finance, Developing Budgets, Financial Skills, Dealing with Complexity and Responsible for overseeing and directing the organization's financial goals, objectives, and budgets.

Key Performance Indicators

He should be able to manage & plan all the financial requirements of the company and should be able to cover aspects related to Banking & Finance. Tracking cash flow & financial planning. Analyzing the company's financial strength & weakness & proposing strategic directions.

Keeping cash flow stable, develop accurate financial scenarios. Developing the company's budget, communicating with company’s banks regularly, overseeing financial planning & analyzing.

Overall responsible for total management of Finance, Accounts, MIS, Taxation. Manage financial controls and accounting procedures

Financial planning and analysis, cash flow management, short term and long-term borrowings, fund management, investments, project financing and dis-investments and development of strategic business models, identifying risks and deficiencies.

Forecast short term and long-term financial needs of the company based on business plan and projects on hand, identify sources and mobilize funds at a low cost.

Effectively and clearly communicate potential risks in a timely manner and Propose action plans to ensure that annual financial objectives are attained.

Preparation of monthly and annual financial plans and Maintain speed and accuracy of billings and client payments.

Timely availability of of Working Capital funds for plant operations; Ensuring availability of sanctioned WC limit (BG/LC) and renewal thereof; Ensuring no delay or default in servicing of lenders’ dues

Monthly / quarterly budgeting and variance analysis; Relationship management with lenders and timely debt servicing (including compliance of other loan covenants such as credit rating, etc)

Maintenance of quarterly / annual accounts and timely completion of statutory audit / tax audit / Board submissions; Periodic MIS and reporting of operational and financial performance of the company. Ensuring statutory compliances, including tax filings and other regulatory requirements.

Timely preparation, submission and approval of Annual Operating Plan; Periodic updation of business models and submission of SWOT analysis to top management.

Cash flow management; WC management, timely sanction and renewal of debt facilities.

Quarterly review and submission of suitable reports to the top management highlighting the key risks and variances.

Issuance of power sale invoices within 5 business days after month end and timely recovery of dues

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • Graduation in Accounts & Finance with CA or MBA Finance
  • Good communication skills
  • Results-oriented, strategic thinker and planner


Relevant Experience

  • 18+ years of experience in a senior financial managerial position
  • Advanced computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office & Microsoft Dynamics SL financial reporting software
