Key Responsibilities

• Technical Leadership : Provide technical leadership and guidance to a team of Java developers, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural principles.
• Team Mentorship : Mentor and coach junior and mid-level developers, fostering their technical growth and skill development through code reviews, knowledge sharing, and constructive feedback.
• Microservices Development : Design, develop, and deploy robust and scalable microservices using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, and Spring Security.
• API Integration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams (including product, design, and QA) to define, build, and integrate RESTful APIs for seamless communication between services.
• Database Interaction : Utilize strong PL/SQL skills to design and implement efficient database schemas and queries, ensuring data integrity and performance.
• Performance Optimization : Analyze and optimize the performance, scalability, and reliability of existing Java applications, identifying and implementing solutions for bottlenecks and inefficiencies.
• Architectural Contribution : Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the evolution of our system architecture, ensuring it aligns with business needs and technological advancements.
• Code Quality and Testing : Promote and enforce high code quality through thorough unit testing, integration testing, and code reviews.
• Problem Solving : Demonstrate excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide effective solutions.

Requirements

• Experience : Minimum of 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java development.
• Core Java Expertise : Deep understanding of core Java concepts, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
• Spring Framework Proficiency : Extensive experience with the Spring ecosystem, particularly Spring Boot, Spring MVC, Spring Data JPA (Hibernate), and Spring Security.
• Microservices Architecture : Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying microservices-based applications.
• RESTful APIs : Strong understanding of RESTful API design principles and experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Database Skills : Solid experience with PL/SQL and relational databases (e., Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL).
• MVC Architecture : Strong understanding and practical experience with the Model-View-Controller (MVC) architectural pattern.
• Leadership and Mentoring : Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring a team of software developers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented environment.
• Communication Skills : Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical ideas clearly and concisely.
• Problem-Solving : Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
• Version Control : Proficiency with Git and related version control workflows.
• Build Tools : Experience with build tools such as Maven or Gradle.
