We are looking for a proactive Assistant Manager Legal Department with 35 years of experience to support our legal operations in Rajkot. The role involves preparing and reviewing legal documents, ensuring compliance with statutory regulations, managing legal affairs, and providing legal consulting to various departments. The position requires a detail-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to balance independent work with cross-functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities (KRA)
- Draft, review, and finalize legal documents, contracts, and agreements.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and statutory requirements.
- Provide legal advice and consultation to management and business teams.
- Represent the company in legal matters, arbitration, or litigation as required.
- Liaise with external legal counsel for specialized legal issues.
- Maintain and update legal records, documentation, and case files.
- Conduct legal research and analyze the impact of new laws or amendments on business operations.
- Support internal teams in resolving disputes and mitigating legal risks.
- Contribute to policy formulation and ensure adherence to corporate governance standards.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate legal roles, preferably in manufacturing or agriculture sectors.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, company law, compliance frameworks, and legal procedures.
- Proven expertise in legal document preparation, drafting, and vetting.
- Ability to manage legal disputes, arbitration, and litigation processes.
- Excellent analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Proficiency in MS Office and legal research tools.
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Law (LLB/LLM).
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
