Job Requirement

We are seeking a skilled CAD Engineer to support our Sales team during the pre-bid phase. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing AutoCAD layouts, generating BOMs, estimating pricing, and coordinating with vendors. A strong understanding of piping systems, fittings, valves, and material specifications is essential.

JOB Description:-

• Design Piping layouts and drawings in AutoCAD for tenders and proposals
• Prepare BOMs and assist in pricing and cost estimation
• Develop P&ID,SLD drawings.
• Apply piping codes (ASME B31.3, B31.1) and material standards
• Coordinate with third-party suppliers for cost, quality, and delivery and internal teams during bidding.
• Follow ETO (Engineered-To-Order) processes and tendering tools.
• Solid understanding of piping systems, and equipment interfaces.
• Create specifications for piping systems, including materials specifications, piping sizes, routing, and valve locations.
  
  

Key Competencies

• Auto CAD experience.
• Knowledge of piping layouts, supports, valves, fittings, and cabling.
• Prepare detailed AutoCAD layouts for proposals and tenders.
• Create Bill of Material (BOM) and assist in cost estimation.
• Ensure compliance with client specifications and industry standards.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and P&IDs.
• Knowledge of material, piping codes (ASME B31.3,B31.1,etc).
• Strong communication and coordination skills for vendor and internal team interaction.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaborative skills
• Commercial awareness
• Analytical skills
• Computer Literate.
• Ability to work cross matrix and establish relationships and networks both internally and externally
• Basic English and Hindi written and verbal communication skills (additional language is an advantage).
