Business Head

We are hiring for the top leadership role for a fast growing construction firm. The rolereports directly into the Board of Directors.

Job Overview: Oversee the feasibility, planning, and execution of residential or commercial building projects. Crucial role in ensuring the successful initiation, development, and completion of construction projects while adhering to quality, budget, and timeline parameters. The main responsibility would be to collect/collate all data to arrive at the best use case scenario for any given project Responsibilities. Standardized working processes as per market quality standards.

Feasibility Assessment

• Evaluate and analyze potential risks and challenges associated with the project, proposing mitigation strategies.
  
  

Project Planning And Strategy

• Develop strategic project plans outlining key milestones, timelines, and resource requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish project goals and objectives, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
  
  

Budget And Resource Management

• Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
• Oversee procurement processes, vendor selection, and contract negotiations.
  
  

Regulatory Compliance

• Stay abreast of local, state, and national regulations impacting construction projects.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, permits, and legal requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
  
  

Team Leadership And Collaboration

• Lead a multidisciplinary project team, fostering a collaborative and positive work environment.
• Provide clear direction, guidance, and support to team members, contractors, and stakeholders. Undertake internal peer review for performance measurement.
  
  

Quality Control

• Establish and enforce quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality construction projects.
• Implement best practices and industry standards to meet or exceed project specifications.
  
  

Communication And Reporting

• Communicate project progress, challenges, and solutions to senior management and stakeholders.
• Prepare regular reports outlining key performance indicators, risks, and milestones.
  
  

Client And Stakeholder Relations

• Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, government authorities, and other project stakeholders, contractors, vendors, consultants
• Address concerns and inquiries promptly to ensure client satisfaction.
  
  

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Proven experience (20+ years) in successfully managing residential or commercial building projects.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools.
