Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker Studio to visualize key business metrics and KPIs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, marketing, product, and project management) to gather requirements and understand business needs.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources such as databases, APIs, GA4, CRM, and marketing platforms into centralized data models for analysis.
• Design and implement data storytelling best practices to ensure dashboards convey clear narratives with actionable insights and intuitive flow.
• Import and model data from on-premise databases, relational systems, and data warehouses, applying appropriate partitioning and denormalization strategies.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries, including joins, CTEs, and window functions, to prepare and transform analytical datasets.
• Develop and maintain data models (star/snowflake schema) in BI tools to establish relationships between entities and support self-service analytics.
• Perform ad-hoc and trend analyses to identify key performance patterns, uncover insights, and inform strategic decisions.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and governance through validation checks, audits, and adherence to quality standards.
• Support stakeholders and end-users in utilizing BI tools effectively, providing training and guidance on best practices.
• Continuously improve dashboard performance, design, and usability based on user feedback.
• Stay current with industry trends and emerging BI technologies, recommending improvements where applicable.
• Attend client calls independently to discuss requirements, present insights, and manage deliverables.
  
  
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to convert complex data into actionable insights.
• Clear understanding of data warehouse concepts, schema design, and data modeling techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and relational databases such as PostgreSQL, SQL Server, MySQL, or Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, and Looker Studio; exposure to other BI tools (Metabase, Apache Superset) is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills to convey analytical insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Experience collaborating with stakeholders to define KPIs and build metrics frameworks for performance tracking.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy and integrity.
  
  
  

Nice to have:

• Experience with ETL processes, query optimization, indexing, and database performance tuning.
• Knowledge of Google Analytics 4 (GA4), Google Tag Manager (GTM), and BigQuery preferred.
• Experience with Python or R for automation or advanced analytics is a plus.
