What You'll Do
You will be reporting to Director - PS, You will work from the Pune office.
Avalara Professional Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), retail, and e-commerce solutions to join our growing Professional Services implementation team as a Project Manager. Project managers will work with the technical teams and will ensure delivery of small and mid-size projects. You will ensure that all projects are monitored, tracked and revenues are reported periodically.

Avalara Professional Services is looking for an experienced Project Manager familiar with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), retail, and e-commerce solutions to join our growing Professional Services implementation team as a Project Manager. Project managers will work with the technical teams and will ensure delivery of small and mid-size projects. You will ensure that all projects are monitored, tracked and revenues are reported periodically.
- Roles and Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, control, and complete assigned projects.
- Define project scope and goals with partners, ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop detailed project plans and documentation to monitor progress.
- Monitor client projects, and report/escalate issues.
- Use to gather requirements, document processes, and propose best practices for tax automation.
- Help develop testing plans and procedures.
- Support sales and account management in selling additional services.
- Manage risks and escalate to Senior Manager/Team Lead.
- Align with established project methodologies.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of work experience, including 2 years as a project manager with SaaS software solutions.
- Experience with accounting and tax processes, with experience in ERP and e-commerce solutions focused on sales orders and invoicing.
- Proficient in expressing process logic and technical architecture, and experienced in delivering functional/technical presentations.
- Knowledgeable in Systems Delivery Life Cycle and Software Development Lifecycle.
- Team-oriented with a strong emphasis on customer satisfaction and business development.
