Associate Manager - MDM

Overview

Responsible for managing and maintenance master data such as: Item groups, customer groups, Demand Forecasting Units, Demand planning setups, location catalog, calendars, supply chain set ups for the 6 AMESA main markets Egypt, South Africa, India, Saudia Arabia and Pakistan. Collaborate closely with local demand planning, supply planning, IT teams to ensure data quality and timely updating / maintaining master data. Optimizing master and transactional data to ensure data quality that flows into the statistical models of Blue Yonder DP solution, to improve forecast accuracy and BIAs targets are met and insights from market and local demand planning teams is captured.

Responsibilities

• Accountable for Azure Data Lake administration, providing support to the entire Modelling team for mining, storing and reporting. Responsible of Data Farming.
• Monitor, control and review change requests in Channel, Location and Loc DC, in case of data changes, Overrides should be requested by local demand planner and supply planners.
• Monitor, control and review change requests according to Sourcing needs, based on BU Tactical Sourcing insights
• Responsible for entry and/or update Price Points of the company porftolio, every time the price list of each BU set product changes in ISCP
• Responsible for entry and/or update Packing Size and Type of the company porftolio, every time the BU set product changes in ISCP
• Responsible for set up and maintaining in a timely manner the DFU flags.
• Responsible for update DFU status: Active, Innactive, Obsolete, In & Out
• Responsible for DFU maintenance of New Product Introduction (NPI) and LTO flags
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelors or related experience in Data Analytics.
• 4+ Years’ experience in Data Farming and Machine Learning Solutions
• Intermediate programming abilities in SQL, R, or Python
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to present quantitative data, providing analytical views for different business problems.
• Ability to support continuous improvement or capability development including analysis, recommendations, and implementation.
• Effective communication skills, with ability to work across and present to multiple levels and different organizational functions.
• Proficient Computer skills: Azure, SQL, Python, MS Excel.
• Technical and programming capabilities with a willingness to learn in this space
• Proficient use of visual reporting tools (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, etc)
• Innovative thinking looking for creative solutions to tough problems
• Self starter and finisher (+)
• Ability to quickly learn and become a subject matter expert in mutltiple business scenarios
• Demonstrated ability to organize and analyze data
• Proficiency in analyzing data to guide work / next steps
