Department Profile

The Fixed Income Division is comprised of Interest Rate and Currency Products, Credit Products and Distribution. Professionals in the Division assess and actively manage risk, trade securities, and structure as well as execute innovative transactions in the fast-paced and constantly changing global markets. The Commodities Division is a market leader in energy, metals, and agricultural product trading worldwide whose professional’s trade in both physical and derivative commodity risk.

Primary Responsibilities

• Support the credit repo business across trade lifecycle on Repo, stock-loan & TRS bookings
• Manual bookings on voice confirmations where STP flow is missing/difficult to automate due to market structure
• Sending manual vcons to clients on confirmed trades
• Going thru trade-breaks (both pre/post trade) and liaise with existing repo & deriv MO processes to fix
• Pick up client escalations on matching/settlement issues – and liase with MO/Setts to identify issues and appropriately escalate to desk
• Help outline & identify processes to streamline the operational workflows – and work with relevant tech teams to improve automation
  
  

Skills Desired

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Basic knowledge of finance, specifically in fixed income (repos, credit instruments, derivative, bond corporate actions)
• Past experience in an operations / settlements role a plus but not a pre-requisite
• Strong Excel/VBA skills
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multi task in a dynamic & demanding working environment
