Job Description

Job Summary

UPS is looking for a talented and driven Data and Business Intelligence Analyst to drive its strategic objectives in the areas of pricing, revenue management, market analysis and evidence/data-based decision making. This role will work across multiple channels and teams to drive tangible results in the organization. You will focus on developing, automating, and curating data for multiple channels and markets. Applying advanced scalable data solutions as an integral partner in pioneering new analyses in a variety of fast paced and rapidly evolving consumer channels. This position will work with multiple levels of the organization, including senior leadership to enable new analytical capabilities for pricing, rate setting, and optimization of our go-to-market offers. You will contribute to rapidly evolving UPS Marketing analytical capabilities by working amongst a collaborative team of Data Scientists, Analysts and multiple business stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Become a subject matter expert on UPS data at all steps in the pricing and revenue processes
• Help identify, define, and solve business data needs
• Design data solutions that show an understanding of the business need and strategy
• Implement data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration solutions using cloud technologies (GCP)
• Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and cost-efficiency
• Ensure data quality, integrity, and security across the organizations data and pipelines
• Develop and maintain documentation for data engineering processes and solutions
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to ensure reliability and performance
  
  

Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant work experience
• Proficient in SQL, SSIS, SSMS
• Proficient in Power BI, DAX, SSAS
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Effective presentation skills utilizing PowerPoint and visualization methods to explain complex data concepts
  
  

Bonus Qualifications

• Experience working with Databricks and Azure.
• Experience working with data pipelines to Google Big query.
• Experience working in Gen AI projects.
• Experience working directly with business partners to design data solutions
• Experience creating and maintaining database architecture
• Experience creating data for reporting and analytics using dashboard like tableau, Looker, etc.
