What You'll Do
Associate Analysts are responsible to handle registrations, filings, document processing. Professional Services team does multiple activities and the role is open for the same. The current opening focuses on state level sales tax registrations and renewals primarily done online. This position requires the ability to learn quickly to start working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, analytical skills and strong communication skills are essential.

This position requires the ability to learn quickly to start working independently in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where attention to detail, analytical skills and strong communication skills are essential.
- Prepare and file Sales & Use tax returns and payments accurately and timely as required by taxing jurisdictions to ensure all return filing deadlines are achieved.
- Should have understanding on state rules and regulations.
- High standards for accuracy to be maintained in line with standard Operating Procedures to avoid causing Penalty and Interest to the client.
- Should adapt procedure, resolve issues/makes working decision within area of specialization.
- Ensure registrations (In-state /Out of state / payroll) are done accurately and on time.
- Performs other additional duties as assigned.
- Communicate to manager ongoing status and challenges or blockers if any.
- Stay abreast of all the updates & trends, support overall production/accuracy goals.
- Find and implement opportunities for process improvement and build efficiency.
- Act as an advocate for the customer and effectively communicate feedback to and from the authorities to the clients.
- Help expand the knowledge base towards self-serving customers by producing relevant, accurate documentation like FAQs and help articles.
- Be open to accept additional responsibilities assigned to meet the deadlines
- Maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures
- Flexible to extend working hours, working on weekends and holidays as may be required to complete the filings requirements.
- Willing to work in 24/7 environment.
- Experience / knowledge in sales tax domain would be preferred.
- 2-5 years of relevant professional experience
- Knowledge of Windows, MS Word, MS Excel is a must
- Excellent written and oral communication skills are required with a demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams.
- Excellent logical, analytical skills along with organizational skills and team player
- Strong attention to detail as we work with timelines and have financial implications
- Experience of tracking tools like Salesforce & Atlassian Jira
- MBA in Finance would be preferred
- Hybrid (3 days from office)
