Roles and Responsibilities of an Assistant Procurement Manager: To assist Manager for developing effective and efficient vendor network for direct & indirect purchase
Responsible to source, negotiate and purchase materials from both local and oversea vendors
Evaluate vendors quotation to ensure that they are in line with the technical and commercial specifications required for the project
Resolve supply, quality, service and invoicing issues with vendors
Track and report key financial metrics to identify ways to reduce cost and improve effectiveness
Identify vendors in countries outside India especially for Sports good imports
Perform a thorough vendor analysis to identify credible and reliable vendor sources for all types of Sports goods
Develop effective working relationships between such vendors & Organization
Follow processes and policies for import related activities including PO terms and conditions, rate contracts etc.
Participate in other activities related to procurement of ad-hoc materials and services.
Identify process improvement opportunities that will help business run more efficiently and effectively
