Role Purpose

To manage and advise the Trade services clients on their day-to-day transactional requirements

and also assist them in structuring of transactions.

Principal Responsibilities -

Playing the role of a Client Service officer for the various customer groups viz., CIB/MME/SME.

Act as the direct customer interface through the following activities:

  • Tracking receipt of transactions into mid-office
  • Taking ownership of all transactional queries
  • Resolving snags or discrepancies in documents
  • Handholding transactions through the mid-office
  • Ensure TATs are met consistently for all customer groups
  • Resolving customer queries and service requirements on an ongoing basis

Advisory role to customers (internal & external) on structuring and execution of various types of transactions.

Align HSBC’s service proposition with the best in market by gathering information on competitors activities.

Managing the trade relationships of select clients and generating revenues in line with targets.

Maintain and ensure due observance of HSBC Internal Control Standards, including the timely implementation of recommendations made by internal/external auditors and external regulators. Ensure awareness of compliance requirements and implementation of Group Compliance Policy. Maintain awareness of operational risk including its identification, assessment, mitigation and control, loss identification and reporting in accordance with section 4 of the Group Operations FIM.

Requirements

Bachelor of Commerce with MBA or CA with 5-10 years of experience in Credit Administration, Banking Operation preferably in Guarantee/Trade.

Additional Information

  • The GCB 6 or GCB 7 will be offered depending on the selected candidate's skill and relevant experience

Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
