Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and implementation of safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Conduct regular inspections and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance.
- Support safety training initiatives, ensuring employees are aware of and adhere to safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the Safety Manager in investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses, and participate in root cause analysis.
- Maintain an up-to-date understanding of health and safety regulations and contribute to organizational compliance.
- Work with department managers to integrate safety measures into daily operations and projects.
- Assist in emergency response planning and conduct drills to enhance preparedness.
- Contribute to the analysis of safety performance metrics, providing valuable insights for improvement.
- Engage in regulatory interactions and assist in safety audits and inspections.
- Provide support in updating safety records and ensuring accurate documentation.
- Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Engineering/ Master of Science + Post Graduate Diploma in Industrial Safety/Master’s in Industrial safety
Having 4 - 5 Years relevant experience
- Skills & competencies:
- Relevant Industrial experience of Industrial Health and Safety
- Well versed with applicable HSE legal requirements
- Demonstrated experience in safety management, with a good understanding of industry-specific risks and regulations.
- Effective communication skills to assist in training and conveying safety information to employees.
- Detail-oriented and organized, with the ability to contribute to incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Familiarity with safety management software and tools is advantageous.
