The Specialist Sales team is the distribution arm for equity and equity-linked products within the CIB. The team delivers equity research & investment ideas, facilitates investor, corporate and analyst access, and markets equity issuance to its investor base. As an Analyst within our Markets team, you will work closely with the Asia Specialist Sales team from Mumbai.
You will support the Asia Specialist Sales Team by delivering market insights, automating processes, and providing insights to enhance client relationships, while leveraging strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills in a dynamic global market environment.

Job Description:
The Specialist Sales team is the distribution arm for equity and equity-linked products within the CIB. The team delivers equity research & investment ideas, facilitates investor, corporate and analyst access, and markets equity issuance to its investor base. As an Analyst within our Markets team, you will work closely with the Asia Specialist Sales team from Mumbai.
You will support the Asia Specialist Sales Team by delivering market insights, automating processes, and providing insights to enhance client relationships, while leveraging strong communication, analytical, and organizational skills in a dynamic global market environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Deliver daily, weekly, and customized sector-wise market commentaries to provide actionable insights for the Asia Specialist Sales Team.
- Support earnings activities and provide summaries of ad-hoc research access calls.
- Develop scorecards for the Global Cash Equity Sales Franchise to evaluate performance, identify payments, and track engagement across platforms.
- Enhance efficiency by automating manual processes and facilitating dashboard solutions through collaboration with various teams and leveraging firm-wide automation tools.
- Analyze Broker Votes and interaction touchpoints to uncover opportunities for strengthening client relationships.
- Assist senior salespeople in the day-to-day coverage of published JPMorgan Research ideas.
- Practice strong intellectual curiosity, enjoy building relationships, have a general understanding of markets and geopolitics, and maintain an extremely high degree of attention to detail.
- Maintain a sense of urgency with a strong focus on organization, which is critical.
- Minimum of 2 years of professional experience
- Familiarity with, and interest in, global markets
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business, Accounting or related field
- Effective communicator, comfortable with a senior audience, with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions
- Excellent time management, organizational, and planning skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure follow-up coordination
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with Excel VBA/Python coding expertise preferred
