We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Territory Sales Manager to establish and grow Biotage’s business in the North of India. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales, developing strategic customer relationships, and expanding market presence through technical expertise and business development initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic sales lead:
- Drive sales of Biotage instruments and consumables including flash chromatography systems, microwave and peptide synthesizers, solvent and nitrogen evaporators, automated sample prep, plasmid purification, and scale-up systems.
- Provide post-sales support and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Develop and execute strategic plans to meet customer needs and achieve account growth.
- Build and maintain strong B2B relationships with key customers and stakeholders.
- Identify and qualify new leads, develop Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), and close deals through technical presentations and negotiations.
- Represent Biotage at conferences, seminars, exhibitions, and other marketing events.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
- Demonstrate systems and products to highlight business value and differentiation.
- Manage demo resources and accessories effectively.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of sales activities and opportunities in Salesforce.com.
- Generate quotes and finalize deals within authorized pricing limits.
- Submit timely standard and ad hoc reports as required.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in chemistry, Biological Sciences, or related field. MBA/PGDBM in Marketing is highly desirable.
- Solid demonstrated experience in direct sales and service experience in chemical/biological sciences.
- Strong understanding of the Indian market and customer landscape.
- Proven ability to understand and address customer needs and tailored solutions.
- Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g. salesforce) and MS office suite
- Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.
