What is Supplier Risk Management responsible for?

  • The Franklin Templeton Supplier Risk Management program is an enterprise-wide program that spans the lifecycle of third-party supplier relationships to ensure supplier related risks are identified, mitigated, and well-managed through every stage of the relationship.

What is the Supplier Risk Management Analyst responsible for?

  • The Supplier Risk Management Analyst reports to the Manager of the Supplier Risk Management program and serves a key role in ensuring Franklin Templeton's compliance with supplier risk related policies, global regulations, and client expectations and requirements. The Supplier Risk Management Analyst will execute program activities to ensure new and existing suppliers are assessed to understand inherent risks, due diligence is performed to identify risk mitigation controls, and issues and risks are managed throughout the lifecycle of the supplier relationship. Additionally, the Supplier Risk Management Analyst will identify and implement program maturity enhancements to meet Franklin Templeton's evolving business needs and regulatory changes.
  • This role requires independent thinking, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

What are the ongoing responsibilities of the Supplier Risk Management Analyst?

  • Lead completion of supplier due diligence and ongoing monitoring across a wide range of product/service categories by collaborating with multi-disciplined subject matter experts and stakeholders.
  • Identify and escalate supplier risk issues and oversee their documentation, approval, remediation, and escalation, as required.
  • Perform quality assurance on supplier risk assessments, due diligence and ongoing monitoring activities.
  • Analyze program data and produce reports to drive decision making and regulatory compliance at various levels within the organization.
  • Establish strong relationships with Franklin Templeton’s Business Units and provide training and consultative support to business partners.
  • Identify, design, and implement process improvements to mature the Supplier Risk Management program.

What ideal qualifications, skills & experience would help someone to be successful?

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent
  • 2-4 years’ experience in Supplier/Vendor/Third Party Risk Management, Procurement, and/or similar roles
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Highly driven and proactive - keen to create process and structure and strive for continuous improvement
  • Results driven with attention to detail and the ability to move quickly while staying organized
  • Strong analytical, diagnostic, critical thinking, and project management skills
  • Excellent English verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience with eGRC applications preferred
