Roles And Responsibilities

  • Functional Responsibility / Domain Related
    • Supporting the S&P Analyst to monitor credit conditions and assess the impact of changing market dynamics on S&P’s rated universe.
    • Create customized report(s) periodically and on request capturing key data points and flagging statuses requiring attention.
    • Assist in the preparation for research on Capital Markets, bond issuances, corporate and government bond spreads etc.
    • Conversant with secondary research, excel spreadsheets and report writing to contribute in thematic reports.
    • Using python to develop and enhance the research process. Leveraging knowledge on technical tools to ideate new products, support on ad hoc research projects to slice and dice unstructured data and draw inferences.
    • Gather data, reporting and analytical requirements from various sources using python codes, and establish scalable, efficient, automated processes for large scale data analysis.
    • Execute the work under Manager’s guidance and in consultation with the S&P analyst, regularly interact with the S&P analyst to keep him/her updated on the progress of deliverables.
    • Actively participate in the team/client calls and review meetings, alert the S&P analyst and the Manager about any exceptions or any emerging difficulties in the smooth execution of work within timelines
    • Update task level operating manuals to document new knowledge gained and new processes.
    • Actively participate in forums across GAC


  • Process Adherence
    • Adopt and adhere to the defined processes in day-to-day execution of assignments as well as organization wide requirements.
    • Strictly practice and follow all Information Security Policies, Procedures and Guidelines of the Organization


  • Client Management / Stakeholder Management
    • Build and maintain cordial and healthy work relationships with onshore clients
Educational Qualification

M.B.A Finance

Experience

1-3 years of relevant experience

Skills

  • Understanding of financial markets and concepts
  • Strong research, Advanced Excel, and power point skills
  • Proficiency in platforms like CapitalIQ, IHS among others, would be an advantage.
  • Technical Knowledge on tools such Python/PowerBI is an added advantage.
  • Experience in handling conference calls and maintain sound communication with onshore clients.
  • Flexible in working at odd hours.
  • Ability to take ownership and execute tasks independently.
  • Positive attitude with qualities of a team player
  • Open to new ideas and initiatives
