Job Summary

Why You Will Love this Job:

The Analyst International Trade Compliance has primary responsibility for the day-to-day monitoring of import and export trade compliance activity. Duties will include but not limited to restricted party screening review and release, import/export audits, HTS classification, and other related trade compliance analytical tasks. This position is responsible for critical trade compliance reporting to ensure compliance with all applicable import/export regulations.

Specific Responsibilities

  • HTS classification.
  • Pre and post import audits.
  • Restricted party screening – review and release.
  • Create monthly reporting and metrics.
  • Additional trade compliance related functions such as repetitive report issuance and correspondence, data verification, etc. as assigned.

Qualification And Experiences

  • Bachelor's degree in international business, logistics, supply chain or related field (preferred but not required).
  • International trade qualification/certification.
  • Minimum 2 years import / export compliance experience – preferred.
  • Global experience will be preferred over regional.
  • SAP-GTS experience required.
  • Experience with MSOffice (specifically advanced-Microsoft Excel).
  • Working knowledge of HTS classification.
  • Business analytics experience

  • Demonstrate a strong work ethic, initiative, decision making skills and the ability to work on a team and independently to drive strategic results.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to professionally address a wide and varied audience, including executive management, both internally and externally.
  • Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple priorities in a fast paced and ever-changing environment.
  • Passion for international trade compliance- not required but a plus.
