They are looking for an experienced professional to drive the Continuous Improvement efforts across their plant.

Job Description

Reporting to the Executive Director, you will be responsible for directing and coordinating all continuous improvement activities at the plant. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading the continuous improvement process by setting organisational goals, identifying areas for significant improvement, and implementing Lean, Kaizen, and 5S methodologies.
• Collaborating with functional leaders, employees, and customers to establish best practices and streamline processes across all plant operations.
• Providing training and mentorship to employees on Lean principles, facilitating problem-solving methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
• Working closely with external resources and institutes like Kaizen International to ensure that best practices are consistently applied.
• Developing and monitoring metrics and systems to measure progress and ensure project goals and budgets are met.
• Engaging with plant leadership to drive cost reduction initiatives and enhance overall operational efficiency through well-planned CI projects.
• Organising, planning, and leading Kaizen events while coordinating Lean projects from initiation to completion.
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Holds a B.Tech/BE in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering, with certification in Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
• Has 15-18 yrs of experience in continuous improvement roles, particularly at the plant level, with a strong track record of successfully implementing Kaizen and Lean initiatives.
• Possesses excellent leadership skills, with the ability to guide teams through change management, process optimisation, and crisis situations.
• Demonstrates proficiency in data analysis for setting and achieving operational metrics and performance goals.
• Is highly organised, with strong communication skills and the ability to foster a collaborative working environment
