Accounts Executive

Responsibilities

As an Accounts Executive, your responsibilities will include:

• Taxation and Compliance: Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, ensure compliance with taxation laws, and handle GST-related tasks such as filing returns, generating E-WayBills, and submitting documents to GST authorities.
• Invoicing and Documentation: Prepare and issue invoices, credit notes, and debit notes accurately, ensuring compliance with established procedures and regulations.
• Payment Follow-ups: Monitor and follow up with customers for timely payment, ensuring adherence to payment terms and resolving any payment-related issues.
• Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries, providing insights to management for decision-making and ensuring accurate financial data.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, such as sales, procurement, and operations, to ensure smooth coordination and accurate financial information.
• Communication Skills: Effectively communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams through telephonic conversations and written communication (emails), maintaining professionalism and clarity.
• TALLY Software: Utilize TALLY software for recording financial transactions, generating reports, and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Basic Computer Knowledge: Possess basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word) to perform necessary accounting tasks and financial analysis.
  
  

Qualities Of The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate for the Accounts Executive position should possess the following qualities:

• Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts and finance, with knowledge of taxation, GST, E-WayBills, credit notes, debit notes, and payment follow-ups.
• Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills for telephonic conversations and writing professional emails, ensuring effective interaction with clients and stakeholders.
• Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, fostering positive relationships, and contributing to overall departmental and organizational goals.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate financial records, proper documentation, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time-management skills to prioritize tasks, handle multiple responsibilities, and meet deadlines.
• Analytical Abilities: Strong analytical skills to review financial data, identify discrepancies, and provide meaningful insights to support decision-making.
• Knowledge of TALLY Software: Proficiency in using TALLY software for accounting purposes, recording transactions, and generating reports.
• Familiarity with Taxation Laws: Sound knowledge of taxation laws, GST regulations, E-WayBill procedures, and compliance requirements.
• Qualification: A bachelor's degree in commerce, accounting, or a related field is preferred. Additional certifications in accounting or taxation would be an added advantage.
