Description

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

Operational Delivery:

  • Sound understanding of the business model and transactional process along with role dependencies within own business unit and related functions
  • Ensure adherence to group policies and procedures
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of the technical aspects of the process
  • Adhere and manage assigned authorizations and audits within the stipulated timelines in accordance with compliance requirements
  • Confidently connect on call with internal / external customers and manage queries
  • Effective coordination with the operations team on the quality and process linkage
  • Operate within the guidelines of internal and external regulators
  • Manage critical activities with high levels of accuracy based on the Payment Authorization Manual (PAM) guidelines
  • Effectively prioritize and show flexibility to ensure business needs are met, be open to assist the team and outside the team, when required
  • Provide cover for associates not in the office by actioning urgent work
  • Participate and contribute during team huddles
  • Ensure adherence to the Willis Insurance Essentials
  • Escalate errors and incidents to the Business Support Team Supervisor

Complete ad-hoc tasks as directed by Business Support Team Supervisor

Qualifications

Required Qualifications, Skills, Knowledge, and Experience

Qualifications:

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree required (Open to all streams)Skills:
  • Preferred background in Quality Assurance. Also, understanding of account receivable and payable model
  • Communication skills - Use of clear business English to enable effective direct communication (Verbal/Written) with stakeholders / external customers
  • Ability to adapt to changes and learn new processes and systems
  • Knowledge in Eclipse preferred along with understanding of MI
  • Achieve results through a clear understanding of escalation procedure and effective business communications.
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications
  • Has sound understanding of the insurance industry
  • Good ability to plan and manage personal workload efficiently and effectively, correctly evaluating importance and prioritizing accordingly

Experience:

Minimum 2 years of total work experience in relevant industry
