Job Description
Accountant with knowledge of both accounting and compliance, will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulatory requirements. Will be responsible for assisting in various accounting tasks while also ensuring adherence to statutory regulations and tax laws. A candidate must have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong knowledge of compliance requirements (GST, TDS), and the ability to effectively manage both aspects of the role.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist in day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger maintenance.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of invoices, purchase orders, and payments for accounts payable transactions.
4 . Stay updated on changes in accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements affecting the company's financial operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Previous experience of 2- 3 years in accounting and compliance roles, preferably in a trading company.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures.
- Familiarity with Indian tax laws, GST regulations, and other compliance requirements.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of accounting software ERP is must.
