About The Role

The Tendering Engineer is responsible for providing technical support to sales teams and conducting technical analysis of product configurations to determine customer-specific pricing.
This job profile is intended for early-career professionals who apply broad theoretical knowledge and require the ability to investigate and analyze problems. Solutions are typically discussed/verified with a more senior member.
- Preparation and submission of tenders in line with customer requirements, ensuring to meet Sulzer commercial guidelines and have the necessary sign off in accordance with the Delegation of Authority.
- Obtain the quotes from sub-vendors for bought outs, outsourcing activities.
- Work closely with Sales, Engineering and Operations to provide cost effective, competitive solutions in line with Sulzer financial objectives.
- Overall responsibility for sustaining the profit margin on tenders.
- Follow up outstanding tenders with customers/sales agents in accordance with agreed Company requirements, and in conjunction with Sales teams.
- Preparation of Lost Bid Analysis.
- Ensure application of Sulzer tools and compliance with policies, procedures, codes of conduct and best practice guidelines.
- Work closely with the Sales teams to meet TCT, extend best support to improve OCT.
- Accurate Order booking in SAP / ZEST in line with the contract, Regularization of order, monitoring and updating status of order to customer to meet CDD, achieve sales target.
