Your role and responsibilities


In this role, you will have the opportunity to play a critical role in ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty in your assigned accounts. Each day, you will assist with customers’ technical requests and engage with colleagues to take care of any technical issues. You will also showcase your expertise by managing service contracts deliverables, on time delivery, customers’ requirements, and financial Key Performance Indicators (KPI), while keeping track of performance metrics and communicating progress to internal and customer stakeholders.

The work model for the role is: #Li-Onsite

This role is contributing to the Electrification business in Service division at Nashik, India. Main stakeholders include sales teams, service teams, cross divisional stakeholders, channel partners, and key customers.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Supporting the customer in a proactive manner by anticipating the customer’s needs and leveraging familiarity with their assigned accounts.
  • Ensuring that the plant fleet under service agreement receives evolution plans and life cycle reports supported by technology segment experts.
  • Measuring, reporting, and presenting the value of the services delivered to key customer stakeholders ranging from Maintenance Managers to Plant Managers.
  • Identifying service and system sales opportunities to expand ABB’s value to the customer and for growing the service contracts with their assigned customers.

Qualifications for the role
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (should be full-time)
  • Minimum 13 to 18 years of experience in service sales, market development, and lifecycle business across industrial sectors
  • Highly skilled in business development, market analysis, and value-based selling within the electrification/service industry (switchgear, drives, automation)
  • Proven expertise in installed base services, retrofit / modernization, and digital solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of the Indian industrial market, covering steel, cement, oil & gas, utilities, and infrastructure segments.
  • Demonstrated ability in stakeholder management, cross-functional collaboration, and driving strategic initiatives.
  • Willingness to travel pan-India to support business development, client engagement, and project execution.
