Role Overview

The Assignment Manager will be responsible for the end-to-end management of physical security operations across high-profile client sites in the South Zone of India. This includes ensuring effective deployment of personnel, compliance with client protocols, documentation accuracy, stakeholder engagement, crisis readiness, and operational audits. The Assignment Manager is expected to maintain high discipline standards, handle large-scale operations seamlessly, and serve as the bridge between the client, site security teams, and the G4S backend.

This role demands strong leadership, a proactive mindset, technical know-how, and non-negotiable communication excellence. Impeccable fluency in spoken English with the right accent, grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation is strictly mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

  • Site Operations Oversight:
  • Plan and deploy daily security personnel as per shift schedules and site-specific SOPs.
  • Conduct briefing sessions across all shifts and ensure grooming, discipline, and attendance compliance.
  • Prepare and manage MDR, shift schedules, and site logs.
  • Carry out efficient patrolling of internal and perimeter areas.
  • Observe and respond to suspicious man/material movements.
  • Ensure access control compliance and critical access management (labs, restricted zones).
  • Maintain visitor/vendor records, key logs, badges, and lost & found registers.
  • Conduct weekly security training and refresher briefings.
  • Perform surprise night inspections to assess readiness of night staff.
  • Technical Systems & Documentation:
  • Ensure the uptime and functionality of CCTV, access control systems, and FAPA equipment.
  • Maintain workstations audit, badge audits, and access key audits.
  • Coordinate with facility teams for system rectification and AMC partner activities.
  • Take access approvals via eApproval portals.
  • Reporting & MIS:
  • Share daily, weekly, and monthly operations reports with G4S and designated site managers.
  • Maintain event trackers, alarms reports, RPM data, incident logs, and vendor performance records.
  • Support site managers in Hyderabad, Mumbai, Delhi, and Gurugram for consolidated reporting.
  • Emergency & Incident Management:
  • Act as the first escalation point for medical emergencies, duress alerts, or system-triggered alarms.
  • Liaise with EMEIA SOC for remote access control and video retrieval.
  • Prepare incident reports, investigate breaches, and implement CAPAs.
  • Conduct mock drills, shutdown protocols, and risk preparedness activities.
  • Client & Stakeholder Coordination:
  • Respond to client queries and share required reports (daily/weekly/monthly) within agreed SLAs.
  • Attend virtual coordination meetings with client-side managers to sync activities Pan India.
  • Coordinate closely with facilities and places teams for smooth operations, approvals, and events.
  • Handle onboarding/offboarding of employees with badge issuance and access revocation.
  • G4S Internal Coordination:
  • Share weekly duty rosters, attendance, and nominal rolls with G4S backend.
  • Coordinate on salary concerns, health insurance issues, and uniform issuance.
  • Maintain leave records and escalate absenteeism trends.
  • Work with Key Account Managers to resolve operations-related escalations.

Candidate Profile

Minimum Requirements:

  • Graduate in any discipline (mandatory)
  • Minimum 5-10 years of experience in security operations management
  • Experience handling multi-location operations preferred
  • Prior exposure to multinational corporate environments in IT sector shall be very advantageous for the candidate.

Essential Competencies

  • Communication: Fluent spoken and written English (mandatory); clarity, grammar, and pronunciation will be tested.
  • Operational Skills: Security deployment, documentation, SOPs, reporting tools.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiar with access control, surveillance systems, e-portals, and Microsoft Office.
  • Leadership & Ethics: High integrity, team management skills, crisis-handling experience.
  • Behavioral Traits: Attention to detail, time-sensitive decision-making, calm under pressure.

  • 100% compliance in daily deployment & reporting
  • ≥95% uptime for security equipment and systems
  • ≤2 critical incidents per year (with timely CAPA)
  • SLA adherence for report submissions and audits
  • Staff discipline, grooming, and performance audit scores ≥90%
