We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Consultant Specialist

In this role, you will

• SQL Data engineer who will be responsible for designing databases and ensuring their stability, reliability, and performance.Develop and maintain stored procedures and functions (T‑SQL/PL/SQL) to build complex business logic.
• Develop database triggers (DML) to enforce data integrity, auditing, and event-driven processing.
• Write and optimize cursor routines (DECLARE/OPEN/FETCH/CLOSE/DEALLOCATE) with appropriate transaction control, error handling, and performance tuning.You will also work other developers optimizing in-application SQL statements as necessary and establishing best practices.
• You will help solve all database usage issues and come up with ideas and advice that can help avoid such problems in the future.Responsibilities
• Help write and optimize in-application SQL statements.Write, enhance, and maintain stored procedures and functions (T‑SQL/PL/SQL) to implement complex business logic.Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases.Prepare documentations and specifications.
• Write and handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery, migration, etc.Profile server resource usage and optimize and tweak as necessary.Collaborate with other team members and stakeholders.DB user managementSkills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements

• 3 to 5 Years of hands-on experience as SQL Developer.Strong proficiency with SQL and its variation among popular databasesStrong proficiency in SQL (T‑SQL/PL/SQL) across popular databases, including hands-on experience developing and optimizing stored procedures and functions.
• Experience with some of the modern relational databases Oracle, PostgreSQL, HiveSkilled at optimizing large, complicated SQL statementsProficiency in Google Big Query and SQL.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts and best practices.Strong understanding of ETL processes and data integration techniques.Knowledge of best practices when dealing with relational databases
• Capable of configuring popular database engines and orchestrating clusters as necessaryAbility to plan resource requirements from high level specifications
• Capable of troubleshooting common database issuesFamiliar with tools that can aid with profiling server resource usage and optimizing it
• Anyone Scripting knowledge Python, ShellStrong agile/scrum development experienceStrong knowledge on Cloud technology like AWS, GCP
