Software Test Engineer

Key Skills : Manual Testing, STLC, Communication, Curiosity, Critical Thinking, Flexibility, Time Management, Analytical, Test Automation, Basic SQL and scripting

Requirements and Skills:

• Proven work experience in software quality assurance

• Proven work experience in SDLC & STLC

• Should have experience in manual testing

• Experience in following Bug Life Cycle

• Experience in working with Project management tools like JIRA etc.

• Hands-on experience with black box testing techniques

• Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test plans and test cases

• Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies & processes

• Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback

• Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities

• Develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs

• Track quality assurance metrics, like Bug Leakage, Defect Densities and Open Defects count

• Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies

• Ad-on advantage if having automated testing tools knowledge
