Job Summary

Infios is looking for a motivated Senior Software Developer to join our Order Management Systems (OMS) product engineering team. You will develop cloud-native microservices that power enterprise retailers across Order Management, Inventory Visibility, Available-to-Promise (ATP), Promising, and Fulfillment.

You will work with experienced engineers and architects to build scalable, reliable, and maintainable software while growing your technical expertise in enterprise product development.

We are looking for engineers who actively use AI-assisted software engineering to improve code quality, productivity, and learning.

What a Day In The Life Looks Like

• Design, develop, test, and maintain Java Spring Boot microservices.
• Build REST APIs and backend services for enterprise Order Management and Supply Chain applications.
• Implement new product features and resolve production issues with high quality and attention to detail.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following engineering best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.
• Work closely with Product Management, QA, DevOps, and senior engineers to deliver product enhancements.
• Contribute to improving application performance, scalability, reliability, and security.
• Build configurable product capabilities that can be used by multiple enterprise customers.
• Follow CI/CD, automated testing, and secure software development practices.
• Use AI tools responsibly for coding, debugging, testing, documentation, and productivity while maintaining ownership of the delivered solution.
  
  

What You Bring To The Team

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong programming skills in Java.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST API development
• Good understanding of object-oriented programming, data structures, and software design principles.
• Experience with SQL and/or MongoDB.
• Familiarity with Git and modern development workflows.
• Basic understanding of microservices architecture.
• Good debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Exposure to Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with Kafka or other messaging technologies.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications such as Order Management, Inventory Management, Supply Chain, Warehouse Management, or eCommerce.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Exposure to observability and monitoring tools.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests.
  
  

AI-Assisted Software Engineering

• Candidates should be comfortable using AI tools as part of their daily development workflow.
• Experience should include:
• Code generation and refactoring
• Debugging and troubleshooting
• Writing unit tests
• Understanding unfamiliar codebases
• Generating technical documentation
• Learning new technologies and frameworks
• Engineers are expected to use AI to improve productivity while applying sound engineering judgment, validating AI-generated code, and maintaining accountability for the quality of their work.
