Regional Head (Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh)

About the role:

Lead and manage all programs of Bharti Airtel Foundation for the assigned geography, ensuring effective implementation, operational excellence and monitoring.

The role will contribute to developing and executing the organization's strategy in the region. S/he will lead and manage operations in the region– program execution, monitoring effectiveness, financial and people management, government relations and other stakeholder management both internal and external. The role also expects to be as coach and mentor to the team.

Qualification and Experience Required:

• Postgraduate in Management, Social Work, Rural Management, Sociology or equivalent.

• 10+ Years of experience in managing large programs.

• Ideal age bracket (preferable) is between 35-45 Years.
  
  

Key Responsibility Area:

• Develop strategic, short-term and long-term project plans, utilizing monitoring tools and managing escalations.
• Lead cross-team collaboration for backend support and internal alignment.
• Analyze multiple programs through data, identify trends and take necessary action.
• Drive operational excellence and program implementation as per the timelines and budgets.
• Manage relationships with senior government functionaries and other stakeholders.
• Manage audit compliance and time to time risk analysis and consequent mitigation plans.
• Students enrolment, attendance, girl child ratio and retention
• Enhancement in the parameters: Capacity utilization; Girl child ratio; Student attendance; Student retention
• Learning levels and Board results: Increase in learning levels
• School report card grading: Improved school report card grades
• Process adherence and quality of processes: All processes being followed as per SOM
• Teacher retention: Control teacher attrition
• Improvement in Key Project Indicators (KPI)
• Ensure enrolments; Student Attendance; Board Result; Participation & Awards/ Avg. Award Per School
• Implementation & Improvement (KPI) – School Processes; Teacher Engagement Score; Teacher Satisfaction Survey; External Participation by Teachers
• Initiation/ Improvement (KPI) – SMC Meeting & Attendance; PTM & Attendance; Donors; SDP; Annual Calendar
• Project management and Stakeholder Management- Innovation & Empowerment; Collaboration with Govt.; Organizations to attain project Goals
• Liaison & Reach out - With the multiple stakeholders
• At multiple levels to make them understand the importance of the programme, involve them in appropriate programmes, engage them in the right path and make them to participate in all possible ways by realizing the impact of their participation, contribution to public education in the school, village, Block, District, state and The Country.
• Data, Documentation and Reports –
• Proper & timely communication with internal and external world about the change and impact that are brought by the programme at all levels and are used to measure the achievements in line with the vision of the Organisation.
• Planning & Execution: Planning and Budgeting & timely utilization; Setting Program direction; Organizing, staffing aligning & supporting; Creating Culture of Leadership; Develop Culture of Learning & Innovating.
• TheTeacherApp:Lead the program in respective geography by building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
• Bharti Airtel Scholarship: Support Scholarship Team, when and where required in respective allocated geography/ region.
