Recruitment Administrator (Temp)
Anglo-Eastern Ship Management
The Recruitment Administrator position exists to provide dedicated support to the Cruise recruitment
function, with primary responsibility for candidate sourcing and pre-screening. The role is required to
strengthen the recruitment pipeline, improve response times to live vacancies, and ensure suitable
candidates are identified and progressed efficiently for operational and client requirements.
The position will support the recruitment team by conducting initial candidate searches, reviewing CVs
against basic role requirements, carrying out pre-screening checks, confirming availability, and
ensuring candidate information is complete before further review by the Recruitment Officer or relevant
hiring stakeholder.
The role operates within clearly defined limits and does not hold final decision-making authority on
candidate selection, approval, offer, or appointment. Final suitability decisions will remain with the
Recruitment Officer, technical interviewer, client, or relevant department head. The Recruitment
Administrator will work under the direction of the recruitment team and within company procedures,
compliance requirements, and client-specific criteria.
The key objective of the position is to increase recruitment capacity within the Cruise section by
allowing Recruitment Officers to focus on higher-level recruitment activity, client coordination,
interviews, compliance review, and mobilisation planning. This role will help ensure a stronger flow of
suitable candidates, improved vacancy coverage, and better support for new vessels, existing clients,
and ongoing operational demand.
