QA Engineer with AI testing experience

Role Overview

As a QA Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality, stability, and performance of custom software applications before release. You will work closely with Business Analysts, UI/UX Designers, Developers, and Delivery Managers throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

The successful candidate must have strong analytical skills, excellent attention to detail, and experience testing enterprise-grade web and mobile applications.

Mandatory Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience using AI-powered QA tools.
• Experience testing custom web and mobile applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Test custom web and mobile applications.
• Prepare and execute detailed test cases.
• Identify, document, and track software defects.
• Perform functional, regression, UI/UX, API, and compatibility testing.
• Validate bug fixes and conduct regression testing.
• Collaborate closely with developers and business analysts.
• Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Use AI-powered QA tools to improve testing efficiency and coverage.
• Maintain test documentation and quality reports.
• Ensure software meets business and quality standards before release.

Required Technical Skills

• Strong understanding of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
• Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• REST API Testing.
• SQL basics for database validation.
• Mobile and web application testing.
• Excellent defect reporting and documentation.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
• ISTQB Certification (Preferred).
• Automation Testing Certification (Preferred).
