About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Public Health Outreach Specialist to support our public health education, research, and community engagement initiatives. The selected candidate will be responsible for immediately initiating the School Health Project in Kolhapur, Maharashtra upon joining. The candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to strengthen public health outreach, teaching, research, and stakeholder engagement activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Initiate the School Health Project
• Support the implementation of public health education and awareness activities in schools and community settings.
• Assist in public health teaching and academic activities.
• Support the dissemination of public health programs, initiatives, and activities.
• Engage with stakeholders, partners, and community members to foster collaboration.
• Contribute to ongoing and new public health research projects.
• Conduct literature reviews, assist in manuscript preparation, develop content, and support research grant submissions

Essential Requirements

• PhD in Public Health / allied health sciences or a Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH) or an allied health-related discipline.
• Proficiency in the Marathi language.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
