Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Production Executive to oversee and coordinate daily production activities in our herbal manufacturing unit. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring production targets are achieved while maintaining quality, safety, and compliance with GMP standards. Experience in herbal, Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical manufacturing is preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and supervise daily production operations.
• Ensure achievement of production targets as per the production schedule.
• Monitor manufacturing processes, equipment utilization, and manpower deployment.
• Maintain compliance with GMP, SOPs, quality standards, and safety regulations.
• Coordinate with Quality Assurance (QA), Quality Control (QC), Stores, and Maintenance departments.
• Ensure proper documentation of batch manufacturing records (BMR) and production logs.
• Monitor raw material consumption and minimize process wastage.
• Conduct line clearance and ensure cleanliness of production areas.
• Train and guide production operators and supervisors on production procedures and GMP practices.
• Investigate production deviations and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
• Ensure timely completion of production reports and MIS submissions.
• Support audits and regulatory inspections.
  
  

Requirements

• 1–2 years of production experience in the herbal, Ayurvedic, nutraceutical, or pharmaceutical industry.
• Good knowledge of GMP, SOPs, and production documentation.
• Familiarity with herbal extraction, formulation, blending, granulation, tablet/capsule manufacturing, or liquid production processes.
• Strong leadership, planning, and team management skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office and production reporting systems.
  
  

Qualifications

• B.E, M.Sc., B.Pharm, M.Pharm, a related field.
• Experience in herbal extract and Ayurvedic product manufacturing.
• Knowledge of regulatory requirements applicable to herbal products.
• Strong problem-solving and process improvement abilities.
