We are over 700 financial professionals who provide high-quality finance and accounting services to DHL Group. We operate the financial and accounting processes for over 140 units of Express, P&P, Group Functions, Freight, eCommerce and Supply Chain - in Germany, the Alps and beyond. Our payment factory operates for over 800 group units worldwide.

We are looking for an immediate, full-time, permanent position in APAC at Chennai, India.
Job Purpose:
Support to develop & execute Record to Report processes and policies by developing, maintaining and providing financial information, plans and projections for the business in line with finance plans and processes, standards, policies and legal framework.

Job Purpose:
Support to develop & execute Record to Report processes and policies by developing, maintaining and providing financial information, plans and projections for the business in line with finance plans and processes, standards, policies and legal framework.
Your tasks:
- Take over responsibility for the transformation of the process landscape for Finance Services
- Support both RtR and global projects in the Finance & Accounting area such as ERP migration projects
- Help to further optimize accounting process landscape and contribute pro-actively your ideas
- Support introduction of new innovative technologies like robotics or AI aimed at increasing automation and standardization
- Execution of system testing and preparation of user documentation and work aids
- Support to continuous improvement of financial processes: support to implement solutions designed to unlock potential for productivity gains, cost reductions and quality enhancements
- Support the standardization of RtR processes
- Apply changes in reporting activities as per business requirements, accounting standards, and regulatory standards on existing and new transactions
- Contribution to identify, analyze and resolve medium difficult issues for financial processes, systems and methods
- Advise and guide GL-managers on procedural and technical topics of special transactions Administer and take over responsibility for mid and larger-size projects in the area of Financial Accounting, incl.
- Act as a (sub-) project leader for RtR
- Conduct regular project status meetings and communicate project updates to stakeholders
- Identify and manage project risks and issues, providing solutions as needed
- Coordinate internal resources and third-party vendors for the flawless execution of projects
- Manage project budgets, ensuring financial accountability and reporting
- Good knowledge in best practices and RtR procedures to advise cross-departmental teams
- Ensure intercultural exchange and knowledge sharing
- Delivery of internal training sessions to support knowledge transfer and operational readiness on new accounting systems.
- Support team members with less experience
