This hands-on role focuses on building, managing, and evolving Power BI dashboards that inform operational and commercial decisions. You will lead the migration of existing Tableau dashboards to Power BI, ensuring like-for-like capability where appropriate and redesigning visualisations where Power BI offers a better approach. Working closely with the data warehouse team and business stakeholders, you will model data, write DAX, and implement best-practice governance so that reports are performant, trusted, and easy to use

Skills & Experience

  • Essential:
  • 4–6 years of experience in BI development or data visualisation, including hands-on Power BI.
  • Proven ability to build and manage production-grade dashboards (requirements through to publishing and support).
  • Strong DAX and Power Query (M) skills; comfortable modelling data for analytics.
  • Solid SQL skills for querying data warehouse tables and views; familiarity with dimensional modelling.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management; able to explain technical trade-offs to non-technical audiences.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present data in a clear, meaningful way.
  • Organised, detail‑oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience migrating dashboards from Tableau to Power BI, including redesign where features differ.
  • Row-Level Security patterns and object-level security; familiarity with data governance.
  • Scripting with Python or R for data preparation and analysis
