This role supports Garrett’s global R&D engineering teams by delivering accurate project costing, RDE spend analysis, and management reporting. You will work closely with engineering managers, finance partners, and program teams to ensure data accuracy, timely reporting, and improved decision-making.
This position is ideal for engineers with data analyst who enjoy working with data, solving analytical problems, and enabling business impact.

About The Team
The Garrett Engineering organization is responsible for developing a differentiated product portfolio of boosting solutions that enables our customers to set new benchmarks in vehicle performance – both for our traditional core tu rbocharger business as well as new growth areas such as electrification and software.
This role supports Garrett’s global R&D engineering teams by delivering accurate project costing, RDE spend analysis, and management reporting. You will work closely with engineering managers, finance partners, and program teams to ensure data accuracy, timely reporting, and improved decision-making.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide support and maintenance to existing Engineering RDE Portfolio costing, Finance dashboard, Global Engineering scorecard / KPI reporting
- Generate and distribute management reports in accurate and timely manner.
- Responsible and contact focal for NPI team Global Time recording system (TRS), maintenance and monitor project efforts recording above annual target plan.
- Support of continuous improvement and development projects of Program management operations (PMO) processes through standardization, automation and leveraging reporting tools for increasing business efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide strong reporting and analytical information support to Engineering management team.
- Should be data oriented, Data mining and be adept in dealing with numbers and large set of data from discrete systems
- Familiarity with business processes and tools e.g. SAP and ability to handle large quantities of data, automate complex data flows; Project Management and exposure to SAP Oracle module
- Automate recurring reports using Excel/Power BI
- Prepare and present data in the right form (dashboard and other visualizations like graphs, tables) for decision-making and problem-solving; Experience in data models and reporting
- University degree in engineering, economics, engineering management, business administration or equivalent; Master’s degree is preferred
- Min 1 year of relevant experience in program management operational activities, Operational excellence analyst or data analyst in Engineering management
- Strong analytical background; Proficiency with current computerized business applications (spreadsheet, presentation and communication software); Expertise in MS Excel Macro, VB programming; Basic programming in Python, R, Power Automate, SQL DB; Exposure to AI tools, prompt engineering
- Knowledge of Data visualization tools PowerBI or Tableau, Knime, RPA/BOTs Automation tools and hands on experience is added advantage
- Excellent presentation, writing, and Excel skills are a must, Passionate about data standardization, Automation, data visualization
- Knowledge of Automotive Products and Six Sigma, lean methodologies would be an added advantage
- Must work well as part of a team but also under own initiative
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good hand calculation and problem-solving skills.
- Self-motivated and enthusiastic
- Reliable with sense of responsibility, Open and responsive
