Description

We're seeking Operations Manager at BLT1. In this role, you will be responsible to expand and manage operations Under the Roof and Out on Road. An exciting role in which you will be managing a team consisting of Team leads, Station associates and supervisors

Title: Manager I, Operations

Typical Responsibilities Will Include

  • Understand the business issues and challenges of Transportation operations; identify strengths/weaknesses and suggest areas for improvement
  • Be data driven, develop and report performance metrics and identify opportunities for improving Customer Experience.
  • Develop efficient people management skills in leading a team of Team Leads, Station associates and Out on road associates

Good to have Skills

  • Proficient Data analysis skills in Excel
  • Should be flexible with shifts

Key job responsibilities

  • People management, efficiently manage a diverse team
  • Derive data driven actionable insights to improve delivery & customer experience
  • Be proficient in both UTR & OTR operations

A day in the life

Start the day with Station Gemba, followed by DBR. Communicate with the team on the areas we need to improve and derive a plan for the same. Work on the deliverables for the day while also planning Out on road and Under the roof capacity for the next cycle/ day, while having loads of fun with a very engaging team.

Efficiently Plan for a 1:1 with your reportee/ manager and work on the feedback!

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent
  • Work a flexible schedule/shift/work area, including weekends, nights, and/or holidays

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1+ years of performance metrics, process improvement or lean techniques experience
