Operational Head – Digital Marketing Agency

Department - Operations & Digital Marketing

Reports To - Director / Management

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and results-driven Operational Head to oversee and direct the overall operations of our Digital Marketing Agency. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing service delivery, leading the team, ensuring client satisfaction, enhancing processes, planning resources, optimizing operational efficiency, driving profitability, and fostering business growth.

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements: Candidates should possess extensive experience in managing Digital Marketing operations and handling SEO clients. Practical experience in client communication, strategic planning, performance evaluations, reporting, client retention, team leadership, and successful execution of SEO, PPC, and SMO campaigns is crucial. Previous experience as a manager or head in a Digital Marketing Agency is required.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management
* Manage daily agency operations to ensure seamless execution and delivery of client projects.
* Develop, implement, and enhance operational workflows, SOPs, and quality benchmarks.
* Track project schedules, resource distribution, team productivity, and service quality.
* Guarantee on-time project delivery while maintaining client satisfaction and profitability.

Team Leadership & People Management
* Lead, mentor, and supervise Team Leads and Digital Marketing departments.
* Conduct performance appraisals, training sessions, and initiatives for team development.
* Promote accountability, productivity, and continuous improvement within teams.
* Facilitate recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, and retention processes.

Client Management
* Oversee and manage SEO and Digital Marketing client accounts.
* Establish and sustain strong client relationships.
* Lead client meetings and strategic discussions.
* Track campaign performance, ensuring client objectives are met.
* Address client escalations to maintain high satisfaction and retention.
* Review reports, recommendations, and deliverables before client submission.

Business Growth & Strategy
* Collaborate closely with Sales and Business Development teams to meet revenue goals.
* Identify opportunities for process enhancement, service diversification, and business expansion.
* Enhance operational efficiency and scalability across all departments.
* Support strategic planning and implementation of organizational objectives.

Reporting & Compliance
* Monitor operational KPIs, team utilization, project profitability, and delivery performance.
* Prepare and deliver operational reports to senior management.
* Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and quality standards.

Required Skills
* Strong leadership, team management, and decision-making capabilities.
* Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Demonstrated experience managing teams across SEO, PPC, Social Media Marketing, Website Development, Content, and Digital Marketing.
* Proficient in project management and operational planning.
* Ability to oversee multiple teams, projects, and client accounts concurrently.
* Expertise in process optimization, performance management, and client retention.
* Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline.
* MBA is preferred.
* Prior experience in a Digital Marketing Agency is mandatory.

Experience
* A minimum of 8 years’ overall experience in Digital Marketing.
* At least 3 years’ experience in a leadership role such as Operations Manager, Delivery Manager, Agency Head, Operational Head, or equivalent.
* Proven track record in managing SEO clients and leading Digital Marketing delivery teams.
