Job Description
- Develop and manage master production schedule for the Plant and ensure that the products are delivered within anticipated cost, quality and timelines. 2) Develop and implement both short and long-term plans to ensure that the Plants have the necessary resources to meet business objectives. 3) Cascade short- and long-term plans to the Plant team and monitor the operating plan weekly and monthly for all divisions. 4) Collaborate with Purchase / Stores department to ensure procurement and timely availability of materials needed as per the Production plan. 5) Provide direction to the production team for effective operation and maximize yield by appropriate capacity utilization and continuous improvements. 6) Improve manpower utilization by effectively allocating resources 7) Monitor production on daily basis and take necessary and timely actions to correct the deviations, if any. 8) Coordinate with maintenance department for resolution of any technical problem such as stoppage of machinery/ equipment, leakage, breakdown, etc. 9) Minimize production downtime due to breakdown of equipment by ensuring that asset performance is regularly reviewed, preventive Maintenance schedule is adhered to. 10) Regularly monitor the MIS reports for Plant operations to closely track the Plant performance. 11) Manage good industrial relations and maintain discipline at the Plant. 12) Ensure on-time deliveries in co-ordination with the functions like dispatch, stores, maintenance, projects, HR & Admin, purchase, PD and SCM team. 13) OSMI/Return/Rejected material consumption in coordination with QC and R&D. 14) Zero in process rejection.
