To manage end-to-end logistics operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective transportation, warehouse management, and distribution while maintaining high service levels and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and manage transportation operations to ensure on-time delivery to customers.
  • Monitor vehicle placement, optimize freight costs, and ensure availability of transporters.
  • Minimize detention, demurrage, and turnaround time at plants/warehouses/customers.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (planning, Project management) for seamless dispatch execution.
  • Manage relationships with transporters and logistics partners to ensure service reliability.
  • Track and improve logistics KPIs such as OTIF, freight cost, lead time, and vehicle turnaround.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, statutory and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives in logistics processes and cost optimization.
  • Implement digital tools/solutions for logistics tracking and visibility.
