Role description

Senior Business Analyst

UST is seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will play a key role in delivering strategic initiatives and system enhancements by working closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and support implementation of enterprise solutions.

Key Responsibilities1. Requirements Gathering & Documentation

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document detailed business requirements.
• Translate business needs into clear functional specifications for technical teams.
• Develop user stories, process flow diagrams, and use cases to support development and implementation.
• Maintain requirement traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

2. Process Analysis & Improvement

• Analyze existing business processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Recommend solutions to enhance operational efficiency and business outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and support process optimization efforts.

3. Stakeholder Communication & Management

• Act as a key liaison between business teams, IT, and external vendors.
• Facilitate meetings, workshops, and discussions to ensure alignment across stakeholders.
• Manage expectations and ensure timely delivery of project milestones.
• Communicate effectively across technical and non-technical audiences.

4. System Implementation & Support

• Support the design, testing, and deployment of new systems and application enhancements.
• Work closely with development teams to ensure solutions meet business requirements.
• Participate in system integration testing (SIT) and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Provide post-implementation support, including issue resolution and user training.

5. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Collaborate with data teams to ensure accurate and consistent data flow across systems.
• Support the creation of reports and dashboards for business insights and decision-making.
• Perform data analysis to identify trends and support strategic initiatives.

Required Skills and Experience

• 8-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Senior Business Analyst.
• Strong experience in business process analysis, requirements gathering, and documentation.
• Proven ability to convert business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, MS Visio, or similar.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with SQL or other data querying tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or equivalent.
• Experience in enterprise system implementations or digital transformation projects.
• Exposure to data integration and reporting solutions.
• Ability to work in cross-functional and global teams.
