Lead I - Engineering Design

Role description

Job Description:

• Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience in Siemens NX customization.

• Good working knowledge of NX Open using any language like C, C++, C#.

• Working knowledge of Knowledge Fusion and Ufunc apis.

• Experience in writing NX Journals for automation and reducing manual work.

• Ability to develop custom tools, and utilities inside NX as per user needs.

• Good understanding of NX functionalities such as modeling, drafting, assembly, and electrical routing.

• Basic knowledge of Teamcenter and how it works with NX.

• Ability to understand business or user requirements and convert them into practical NX solutions.

• Experience in creating user-friendly interfaces using Block UI Styler or similar tools in NX.

• Ability to debug issues, fix errors, and improve performance of existing NX programs.

• Follow coding standards, write clean code, and maintain proper documentation for future use.

• Participate in testing, validation, and deployment of developed solutions.

• Provide support to end users and resolve their day-to-day issues related to NX OOTB and custom tools.

• Guide and support other team members and share knowledge within the team.

• Continuously learn and keep up with new NX features and technologies.

Added Advantage:

• Knowledge of Jenkins and test automation.

• Knowledge of Teamcenter customization using ITK, BMIDE, or SOA.

• Knowledge of scripting languages like Python, batch script for automation tasks.

• Experience using version control tools like Git.

• Understanding of Agile or Scrum way of working.

• Good problem-solving and analytical thinking skills.

• Experience in industries like automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing is a plus.
