Junior PMO Analyst

Role Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Junior PMO Analyst to support the IT Project Management Office (PMO) in project tracking, governance, reporting, and coordination activities across technology and digital initiatives.

The role involves participating in PMO and project review meetings, preparing Minutes of Meetings (MoM), collecting project status updates from cross-functional IT project teams, and preparing management dashboards and reports for senior leadership. The candidate will also track action items, support project governance activities, and assist the Global PMO Lead in ensuring effective execution and reporting across IT projects.

The ideal candidate should possess strong communication, analytical, and reporting skills, along with familiarity with AI tools to improve reporting efficiency, insights, and presentation quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in regular PMO, project governance, and IT project review meetings.
• Prepare accurate, concise, and actionable Minutes of Meetings (MoM).
• Track, monitor, and follow up on project action items and deliverables.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, technical teams, and business stakeholders to collect project status updates.
• Consolidate project information and prepare weekly/monthly PMO reports, dashboards, and management presentations.
• Track project milestones, timelines, risks, issues, dependencies, and overall project health.
• Support project governance activities for ongoing IT and digital transformation projects.
• Prepare executive-level reports and presentations for senior leadership review.
• Support the Global PMO Lead in governance, reporting, project coordination, and ad hoc analysis.
• Identify opportunities to automate repetitive reporting and tracking activities.
• Explore and leverage AI tools to improve reporting quality, analysis, documentation, and presentation preparation.

Required Skills & Competencies

Technical Skills

• Strong proficiency in:
  • Microsoft Excel (advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, dashboards)
  • Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Microsoft Word
• Experience preparing MIS reports, PMO dashboards, and management presentations.
• Familiarity with AI tools such as:
  • ChatGPT
  • Microsoft Copilot
  • Google Gemini
• Working knowledge of project management and collaboration tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, Azure DevOps, or similar tools is preferred.

Soft Skills

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
• MBA or Project Management certification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Experience

• 3–5 years of experience in PMO, IT project coordination, MIS reporting, or related project support roles.
• Experience working in IT services, technology, or digital transformation environments will be a strong advantage.
• Exposure to project governance, executive reporting, and multi-project coordination.
• Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT project execution methodologies is preferred.
