India plays a critical role in this journey—not only as a delivery engine, but as a strategic incubator for enterprise transformation. We are looking at a senior leader to lead high-impact transformations for a part of the bank, design, create a proof of concept and launch in India and scale globally.
This role is a member of the State Street India Management Committee and operates in close partnership with global business, operations, technology, and transformation leadership.

What You Will Be Responsible For
As Head of India Transformation, Senior Vice President you will have a broad set of strategic and hands-on responsibilities, including but not limited to:
- Lead enterprise-level transformation initiatives sponsored by the bank, focused on a limited number of high-impact, cross-business projects/ programs.
- Define new ways of working and operating models that cut across business, operations, and technology.
- Design, pilot, and prove transformations in India, establishing clear principles, operating models, and success measures.
- Partner with global leaders to scale successful transformations across State Street’s global footprint.
- Act as a strategic partner with the global transformation leadership to understand the areas requiring focus and how the team can deliver the impact.
- Build and support design, execution, and scaling of initiatives.
- Operate and partner as a bank-wide transformation leader, not a functional or operational head.
- Influence senior stakeholders across a global, matrixed organization.
- Lead with ambiguity, clarity, judgment, and confidence.
- Balance strategic vision with pragmatic execution.
- Model inclusive, enterprise-first leadership and decision-making.
These skills will help you succeed in this role
- 18+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial services or consulting, including significant transformation leadership roles at large global organizations.
- Proven track record of enterprise change, not just process or cost improvement.
- Strong understanding of how business models, operating models, and technology intersection.
- Credibility engaging with C-suite and senior executive stakeholders globally.
- Experience with modern ways of working (e.g., Agile, product models, platform operating models) at enterprise scale.
